Continue ShoppingThe Soap Company of Nova Scotia Ltd. is looking for a full-time Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia.
We are a growing company where our team of Soap Pros works collaboratively to make and ship amazing products to both retail customers and stores. Our priority is creating products for people with scent and/or chemical sensitivities, because we believe everyone has a right to feel great in their skin.

Location
· 8000 Highway 7, Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia
Position Type & Schedule
· Full-time
· 32 hours per week over 4 days
· 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on either
o Monday to Thursday, or
o Tuesday to Friday
Compensation
· $17.00/hour during the training period (estimated at 3 months)
· $18.50/hour after successful completion of training
Responsibilities
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will be responsible for:
· Packing and fulfilling orders accurately and efficiently
· Receiving incoming shipments and checking orders for accuracy
· Providing customer service by phone, email, online reviews and messaging apps
· Completing administrative tasks related to shipping and receiving
· Performing light production tasks such as mixing powders, labelling, packaging, etc.
· Keeping work areas tidy, clean and organized
· Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Required Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:

· Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
· Strong computer skills
· A reputation for being very reliable
· The ability to focus carefully and maintain excellent attention to detail
· Strong organizational skills
· The ability to work independently and be self-directed
· A willingness to learn and grow
· The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
