My best friend gave me a sample package of the Soap Company of Nova Scotia’s lavender laundry powder in 2024. I waited to try it out since I had conventional laundry detergent to use up first and, I admit, I was skeptical about the cleaning power of the laundry powder. That said, I was very interested in giving it a try because I was unhappy with the huge amount of plastic used in every bottle of conventional detergent. So I gave it a try and was delighted to discover that it works! It really works! I love the scent of both the lavender and the patchouli and it is incredible how many loads of laundry that first small box of powder got clean. I will never go back to conventional/commercial laundry detergent and heartily endorse the Soap Company of Nova Scotia’s product for everyone interested in clean, fresh laundry and a major step forward in protecting the environment! (p.s. the stain removal bar also works! - no more plastic spray bottles for me!)
