The Pet Shampoo Story

This rich, unscented bar is filled with soothing local honey & super-fatted with Nova Scotia hemp oil to care for your pet's skin & coat. This scent-free pet shampoo lathers up really well, then rinses out quickly to leave their pets squeaky clean with no residue to irritate later.

This gentle, yet effective shampoo has been used with great results on a wide range of pets including dogs & cats, horses & even a one-winged crow!

Instructions

• Thoroughly wet area to be shampooed (e.g., fur, hair, feathers, etc.)
• Rub bar on wet area to create a rich lather
• Shampoo with a gentle massaging action 
• Rinse thoroughly with clear water
• Tip: The shampoo will rinse out squeaky clean, which may tangle longer strands of hair or fur. You may wish to comb out the tangles while your pet is still in the tub, as running water can help de-tangle the strands.

• Vegetable shortening (soybean oil, palm oil [sustainably harvested]), coconut oil, olive oil, water, sodium hydroxide (lye), local Nova Scotia hemp oil, honey from Cornect Family Farm, salt

Size & Pack

• Full bar: appx 100 grams* x 12

* When freshly made, full-size bars weigh approximately 120 grams. During the curing process water evaporates and the weight decreases. Once cured, the dehydration process continues over time and the weight continues to decrease. Interestingly, the overall dimensions of the bars do not get smaller and with less moisture, bars are harder, so last longer 

How to Get the Best Value of Each Bar

• Bars are cured to last
• Allow to dry between uses to last longest
• Cut bars to use at multiple sinks or later
• Store spares in dry spot out of direct heat
• Do not store in airtight containers or plastic
• Wrap wet bar in dry cloth when travelling
