Here's the Scoop

Regular Washer Instructions
- How much to use depends on amount of dirt
- Minimum 1.5 teaspoon
- Maximum 2 tablespoons
- Sprinkle into drum whenever you prefer
High Efficiency (HE) Washer Instructions
- How much to use depends on amount of dirt
- Minimum 1 teaspoon
- Maximum 1 tablespoon
- Sprinkle onto clothes in the drum OR
- Put powder dry into the tray OR
- Mix with water & pour into the tray
Hand Wash Instructions
- Mix small amount of powder with water
- Submerge article completely
- Let soak, rinse well & dry as directed
Stain Removal Instructions
- Make a paste of powder & water
- Wet fabric & rub paste into stain
- Roll fabric up so it will stay wet
- Allow fabric to sit for a few hours OR
- Let sit until the stain is gone
- Launder as usual
- For extra-heavy stain removal (e.g., collars & cuffs), pre-scrub with our best ever natural Stain Remover 2-in-1 bar for laundry & dishes

Please know we make very concientious decisions about what packaging we use and in which scenarios <3
Our laundry powder is a very fine powder so does require being sealed to transport properly. At this time, it is not feasible for us to have tin or metal containers based on the volume of this that we sell & we have not yet been successful in getting a stiff enough cardboard that is sealed and both recyclable and compostable for the 2.27kg size.
We do list the packaging on the product page for each product :)
Please note - the thin plastic bags the 2.27kg laundry powder are in are recyclable - and while we have not achieved no waste (yet), we are proud to be very low waste.

I had previously tried this detergent and then switched to using up some old other detergent when I ran out. I realized how well your detergent had been working when after about a month of other detergent I had smell issues with sweaty clothing. Switching back to your detergent permanently now because it washes well. Love that I have a scent-free detergent that actually works well. Love the stain bar that came with it too! I was able to get stubborn adhesive residue off clothing easily with it.

I first purchased the smaller package of lavender powder which was lovely. Fabric came out nice and clean. I first purchased the unscented last year and it is all that I am using now. I add essential oils on the dryer balls.
We all (in our family) have slight sensitivies to chemicals that are found in commercial products, so finding a safer alternative is reassuring.
BONUS: it's a Canadian product!!! We love to support small and local.
I recently discovered that I had become very sensitive to scents of any kind in products. So unscented it is. I already used Leigh’s laundry soap so the switch was seamless. My skin thanks you.

This is my second purchase of this laundry soap. I bought my first over a year ago. We use it almost exclusively. Our clothes are clean and fresh smelling, even running gear. As a bonus, there is no gummy residue left in our washer, as there was with previous liquid unscented products we’ve used.
